About
Darshan Veershetty is an Industrial Designer who currently resides in Bengaluru, India. He has a background in engineering and entrepreneurship. Prior to returning to India, he briefly worked in various cities in the United States including Raleigh, Austin, and Salt Lake City.
In Spring 2020, he graduated with a ‘Master of Industrial Design’ from North Carolina State University at Raleigh.
Design challenges that question the status-quo excite him. He appreciates the need for user-centered design and developed skills in the same over multiple academic and professional projects. With a background in sales and entrepreneurship, he keenly understands the need for creating designs that are not only desirable but also be sellable and scalable. His undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering has immensely helped him in ensuring that the designs he creates can be communicated to amongst other engineers in the supply-chain, is easily manufacturable within a specific budget and is easy to assemble.
In his free time, he loves sketching, cooking, reading books, and camping in wilderness.
